いや、素晴らしい試合でした。本当に勝たせてやりたかったなあ。しかし決勝トーナメントはやはり厳しかった。特に今回はどの組み合わせ観ても正直強いチームが勝つってのがよくわかる。その中で南米の雄、パラグアイ相手にここまでやれたのは素晴らしい事。出来れば４年後、また夢を見させて下さい。お疲れさまでした！

i want to say "Thank you Japan National Team" ! they did a great job and make us happy. i wish they won but it is the World Cup. i hope we will be excited again next time. thanks again !

I only caught the shoot out in the pub this afternoon.

Sorry to see Japan go out.

Now we can all get behind Diego though I guess!

And of course far more important than any of this England stuffed the Aussies in the cricket!

My wife and I watched the game in the pub yesterday (here in Guernsey - we were the only ones!). It was such a horrible game to watch - too tense, always nervous...
But we were so sad afterwards.
Japan have played with more fire and passion than my own England! I had more fun supporting Japan, and got better value for money!
